1. Who Are Lifemax?
Based in the Royal County of Berkshire since 2003, Lifemax offer Innovative solutions that bring enjoyment and increase independence and security. Our aim is to provide the best possible wellbeing and assistive products and a first-class service for our customers. We benefit from offices and manufacturing in Hong Kong and China with over 40 years’ experience, allowing us to source high quality, good value products. Available under the Lifemax, Friends & Family and Nutrix brands our products are stocked by numerous major retailers including Manage At Home
2. Where are Lifemax from? Where was the company born?
Our UK offices have been based in between Reading and Newbury since 2003, when the Company was founded by John Sivyer.
3. What got you into the Daily Living Aid business?
With a background in sourcing electronic products from the Far East, John saw the potential these electronics being used to provide cost effective care solutions. Concentrating initial on fall management systems produced in our Dongguan factory, the range quickly grew to include other products designed to help with everyday life.
4. If you were a first-time customer, what product by Lifemax would you buy and why?
There are a number of products that Lifemax are particularly well known for, such as the High Vision floor lamp or Mobile SOS Pendant. The product that our customers rely on the most, however, would be our Talking Atomic Watch range. These have been designed in association with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and offer a clear, British time announcement and an easy to feed dial. With the benefit of being automatically set by the atomic signal, they are known to be a reliable, well thought out product that our customers can, and do, depend on.
5. Why would you buy from Lifemax instead of a competitor?
In recent years it has become increasingly easy for companies around the world to sell to the end user. Unfortunately, some of these companies do not take the time to evaluate and adapt their products to ensure that the customer receives a high-quality product backed by the customer service expected in our local market. Lifemax benefit from twenty years’ experience of bringing daily living products to market and offer unrivalled quality control and support for the customer.
6. How are you enjoying your partnership with Manage At Home as a supplier so far?
Manage At Home have always been friendly and easy to deal with. Their high level of customer service is noticeable to us and we never receive a call from a frustrated end user as is sometimes the case with other sellers.
